The Authorization Service: All wrapped up!

20 March 2008

Well, I think it’s finally time to claim victory on the completion of the Authorization Service. After giving in on the Betwixt issue, which by the way, also resolved the original Betwixt issue (or should I say, worked around it), and correcting my date formatting issue, I was finally able to declare everything to be working as intended. All of the source code and related artifacts are now bundled together here: Example8.ear (by the way, for some reason you have to right click and “Save Link As…” to actually get this file — I’m not sure why).

In addition to the original Core, Identity, Approval, and Example web applications, this new .ear file also contains a new Authorization .war file for the Authorization Service. Like the Approval Service, the Authorization Service uses elements of the Core and Identity web applications, and example uses can be found in the Example web application.

Now that that’s over, it’s time to start thinking about what to tackle next …
