Assembla just upgraded

4 November 2008

The good folks at Assembla, who are nice enough to provide us with a Team Space and Subversion repository for our little projects, have just announced the launch a new version of their site:

After three months of hard work, we have now released the new version of Assembla.com. This version contains some major changes to the subscription packages and a LOT of new upgrades requested by our many users. Here’s a few of them:

  • Ticket Tool: Design upgrades, Integrated Screen Capture Applet, and more
  • Integrated subversion browser – alpha release – this is a beautiful piece of work  that includes single-sign-on, HTML rendering, etc.  Go to code.assembla.com to see your repositories.
  • Real time emails for events
  • New Twitter Tool
  • Improved Trac import
  • Branding Tool is now FREE
  • Portfolio Tool is now FREE
  • Improved REST API, with new Mylyn connector
  • Mercurial changesets integration to Assembla Stream and dashboard
  • … and more

Get the full scoop, read Assembla President Andy Singleton’s post about the new release on the Assembla Blog.
